first half of january

i know i haven't updated in a while, but i have no excuse. i apologize. here are the 365 photos i've been working on.

the start of something new

of course that is a shout out to high school musical. one of my favs. :D i am actually watching the 2nd one right now. zac efron's eyes are so blue in this current scene. anyways. my friend savannah and i decided to embark on a new journey with the beginning of this new year. we are joining the masses in the quest to complete a 365. contrary to what some people may believe, it is not an independent study class with a professor, that would be a 485. at least that's what it's called here at a&m. for those who don't know, (don't worry, i hadn't heard of it either until the other day) basically it's taking a self portrait every day for a year. here are a few that i took yesterday and today. and i obviously like taking pictures in front of mirrors.

geoff and i ran around campus a few days ago and enjoyed the beautiful weather. we had been planning a photography excursion, but to our dismay the weather decided to be dreadful for about a week. thankfully, it finally turned pleasant and was just the right temperature. here's a few photos from the day.

but the fire is so delightful

i apologize for some of the blurriness in some of the images. i was freezing and had no patience to be out in the cold. don't get me wrong. i love snow. just not the cold part. it started snowing around 2 in the afternoon and didn't stop until 7 that night. unfortunately, it wasn't very thick around 5 when i took most of these pictures. and i didn't have a tripod to take the night photos. maybe it will snow again later this winter and i can get some better photos. :D

should i go backless?

i cannot decide if my website should have a background image/color or not. i'm torn. any suggestions? also, if there is anything you would want to see added/taken away from the current design, let me know!
