i sat in waiting room yesterday but the waiting didn't pay off

i realize that i haven't updated in a while. therefore, i shall tell a story. about me. i'm currently sitting at work, trying to figure out what to work on the last 25 minutes of work. i've caught up on everything, and i'm contemplating working on my personal site, which is rather empty. i have an idea for the about me page. it involves a giant image of me. how wonderful?? as for the other, it's very difficult to figure it all out. i need to figure out what the content will all be. sorry if i'm rambling, but hey, you're still reading this. obviously. i could talk about nothing, and just keep typing. i watched a clip from the office in class this morning which reminds me of what i'm doing. it's the episode where michael is being interviewed by his boss, being asked what his secret is to his success. michael starts off with a sentence, and 5 minutes later, he's still on that one sentence. he says something like "sometimes i start off with a sentence, and i don't know where it's going. i just let it go." that's about what i'm doing.

our third studio project this semester is to show emotion or action through camera movement only. the camera angle is first person, and we're not supposed to use sound. but i might use it anyways. this is all i have right now, i need a break.

the start of something new

of course that is a shout out to high school musical. one of my favs. :D i am actually watching the 2nd one right now. zac efron's eyes are so blue in this current scene. anyways. my friend savannah and i decided to embark on a new journey with the beginning of this new year. we are joining the masses in the quest to complete a 365. contrary to what some people may believe, it is not an independent study class with a professor, that would be a 485. at least that's what it's called here at a&m. for those who don't know, (don't worry, i hadn't heard of it either until the other day) basically it's taking a self portrait every day for a year. here are a few that i took yesterday and today. and i obviously like taking pictures in front of mirrors.

geoff and i ran around campus a few days ago and enjoyed the beautiful weather. we had been planning a photography excursion, but to our dismay the weather decided to be dreadful for about a week. thankfully, it finally turned pleasant and was just the right temperature. here's a few photos from the day.
